Antonio Conte to Tottenham appears to be OFF, according to stunning reports.

It is claimed that Conte is 'unconvinced' by the Spurs project and is now leaning towards a rejection, which could affect Fabio Paratici's decision too.

Talks between the Premier League club and the decorated Italian manager, who led Inter Milan to Serie A glory last season, have broken down per Sky Sports Italia.

The report states that the ex-Chelsea manager has doubts about the competitiveness of the squad amid intense transfer speculation regarding Harry Kane's future.

Spurs are also looking to draft in former Juventus director of sport Paratici.

However, if Conte does indeed turn down Daniel Levy's offer, then that could also affect Paratici's move.

The North London outfit ruthlessly sacked Jose Mourinho in April - the week of the Carabao Cup final.

They appointed Ryan Mason until the end of the season with their former midfielder securing a seventh-place finish in the table.

Conte, on the other hand, left his role at Inter by mutual consent after guiding them to domestic success.

They ended Juventus' Serie A dominance following a superb league campaign which saw them top the league, 12 points ahead of nearest rivals AC Milan.

Conte had also been linked with the Real Madrid vacancy until they appointed fellow Italian Carlo Ancelotti.

Inter, meanwhile, have since appointed ex-Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi on a two-year deal.
