Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has shared a video of himself going through his rigorous rehabilitation as he bids to return this season.
'Ox's season was cruelly cut short last season following a serious knee injury sustained during Liverpool's brilliant Champions League campaign against AS Roma.
He was subsequently ruled out of the World Cup with further reports claiming he's set to miss the rest of the 2018/19 term.
But if Oxlade-Chamberlain's video is anything to go by then he could be back sooner than expected.
The England international uploaded a video of his intense rehabilitation programme after knee surgery; from rope work to the exercise bike not to mention boxing by hitting the pads.
He didn't apply any pressure on his injured right knee but his actions from Liverpool's base in Melwood, naturally, got fans excited.
Seeing videos of the Ox training the way he is wouldn't suggest he's out for the whole season! In all honesty I reckon he will be back in March, possibly even Feb. But imagine getting him back in Jan! Would take him coming back over getting Fekir any day of the week! #LFC

If he's at this stage in his training already then I think we could seem him back mid way through the season so maybe December January time.

Jurgen Klopp, meanwhile, has said the following on Oxlade-Chamberlain's recovery.
"It feels like now is an appropriate time to tell people that for Ox this coming season will be about focusing on recovery and rehab," he said via Liverpool Echo.
"We have known this from pretty much the day after he got the injury and after the successful surgery, we were sure of it. I hope everyone treats this information responsibly.
"There has been no change, no setback - it's exactly on the schedule we expected and planned for. The new information is that we're now giving more detail publicly."
A view helps, but it doesn't take all the pain of treatment away  good session this morning with the club physio :muscle: pic.twitter.com/luKkWM2BWK

Here's hoping the 25-year-old returns to full fitness and makes an appearance for Liverpool before the close of this season.
Get well soon, lad.
