Alan Shearer is the absolute top dog when it comes to Premier League goals.
The former Newcastle and Blackburn striker has netted a total of 260 in the English top flight and no-one is anywhere near him in the Premier League goals department.
Wayne Rooney is closest, having scored 195 over the years, while the top bunch is largely made of up players who are no longer playing and thus aren't in a position oust Shearer.

However, there is one player that Shearer himself believes has the capacity to break his record.
The England legend was asked the question in a Q&A on the Premier League's official Twitter page and Shearer commented that Spurs striker Harry Kane could have a chance of breaking his record if he steers clear of injuries and remains in the Premier League.
Kane has been in blistering form of late and his double against Everton on Sunday means he is now the Premier League's top scorer, on 19 goals.
In all competitions, he has bagged an impressive 24 goals in 29 appearances.
