Zinedine Zidane is one of the best players of the modern era and one of his greatest performances came in the 2006 World Cup quarter final against Brazil.
There's plenty of highlights to pick out from Zinande's playing career and for many the first memory that would come to mind in the 1998 World Cup final against Brazil.
The Frenchman scored twice on that balmy night in Paris as France won their first World Cup but arguably the former Real Madrid manager had a better performance eight years later.
In the quarter-finals in Germany the South Americans were once again tormented by Zidane and his personal highlights show just how good he was that day.
After winning the World Cup at home in '98 the French couldn't even get out of their group four years later in South Korea and Japan.

The holders suffered an opening match shock to Senegal, one of the biggest in the tournament, and didn't get into the knockout rounds.
Four years later Zidane was set to retire at the end of the tournament but inspired his national team to reach the final again.
Whilst the former Juventus player's best performance came in the quarter final his most memorable game was once again in the final.

He scored a panenka penalty to put France 1-0 up against Italy but his headbutt on Marco Materazzi, which resulted in a red card, was the defining moment of the game, the tournament and potentially his whole career.
In one of football's most poignant moments the Champions League winner had to walk past the trophy and off to his retirement.
Speaking recently about the final then Italy boss Marcello Lippi told Rai Radio 1, "I was pretty stunned by Zidane's behaviour. I worked with him at Juventus, he is an extraordinary person, really humble and intelligent.

"I must've watched that game 20 times and it is always emotional. I chose Grosso for the final penalty because the best spot-kick specialists had already been assigned and I remembered Grosso had earned the last-gasp penalty against Australia, scored against Germany in stoppages.
" I told him, 'You are the last-minute man, so you take the fifth penalty'. He couldn't believe it."
