Fabrizio Romano drops transfer update on Man Utd and Arsenal target Mohammed Kudus

Red Devils supporters will be delighted.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Manchester United transfer target Mohammed Kudus.

The Red Devils currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League and stand in good stead to qualify for the Champions League this season.

A mere point against Tottenham will see them leapfrog Newcastle into third, as Erik ten Hag looks to secure a European finish in just his first season in charge.

But the United boss will have half an eye on the summer transfer window, as he prepares for a busy European schedule next season.

Ten Hag is expected to pay particular attention to his attack following Cristiano Ronaldo's acrimonious departure last winter.

And among the names rumoured with a move to Old Trafford is Mohammed Kudus, who has impressed for Ajax this season.

The 22-year-old has chipped in with 18 goals across all competitions this term and Romano has now offered an update on the player's situation.

Kudus to Man Utd?

Romano has suggested that a transfer lies in Kudus' hands, revealing he 'dreams' of a move to the Premier League.

“It looks like an open situation for Mohammed Kudus, things could happen with him this summer,” Romano told Caught Offside.

“I’m not aware of anything concrete at this stage with Man United or Arsenal; but he always had the dream to play in Premier League so the situation will be one to watch in the summer.”

Ten Hag has established a lucrative relationship with his former club Ajax, already signing Lisandro Martinez and Antony from the Dutch side.

However, the Eredivise club may be less willing to sell another one of their prized assets to the Red Devils.

Harry Kane has been another name heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, although Tottenham president Daniel Levy is insistent he is not for sale, forcing United to consider alternatives.
