UFC star Conor McGregor is now getting involved with 'magic' Wrexham, announces link-up

UFC star Conor McGregor has linked up with Wrexham as he has announced he's teaming up with Paul Mullin for a great charitable cause.

Wrexham are flying high in the National League this season and are on course to gain promotion to League Two.

The backing of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney has transformed the Welsh club, who have seen their prolife rise exponentially.

And they are now getting another superstar on board, with McGregor taking to social media to announce a partnership with Wrexham and their star striker Mullin.

The owner of the Turf Hotel wrote: "This Tuesday before Yeovil we will be selling @TheNotoriousMMA very own Irish Stout from a mobile truck by the Marquee.

"We will be donating all sales to @PMullin7 backed Charity YourSpace. I’m told it’s a belting pint so all support would be very much appreciated."

Wrexham, who drew 0-0 at Barnet on Saturday, resume their league campaign at home to Yeovil next Tuesday, where fans will be able to purchase McGregor's famed Forged Stout.

Mullin has enjoyed a stunning campaign this season, having scored a staggering 44 goals in all competitions, including 35 league goals.

As for McGregor, he's set to return to the UFC this year, with a blockbuster bout against Michael Chandler on deck.
