Wanda Nara has a new job after splitting with Mauro Icardi

Wanda Nara has a new job after splitting with Mauro Icardi

The Galatasaray forward has broken up with his wife and she's clearly moving on from being his agent, with a brand new job.

Mauro Icardi's wife, Wanda Nara, has found herself a new job on television, following her very public split with the Galatasaray forward.

It's fair to say that Icardi and Nara have never had the most conventional of relationships, considering they met when she was married to his then friend, mentor and teammate Maxi Lopez.

So it's no surprise that the end of their relationship came with all the twists and turns of a ridiculously over the top soap opera drama romance.

The past year has seen the pair, who also had a working relationship with the player's wife acting as his agent, be off and on again several times.

Amongst other twists in the tale, they burned their furniture outside their house in Lake Como at the beginning of one of several times splitting up.

He annoyed Galatasaray when he flew to Argentina to confront her over a music video she appeared in and she ran a poll on her social media to see if they should stay apart.

With that settled, and the two drama queens not likely to get back together any time soon, it looks like she's been picking up some new jobs.

The 36-year-old has been a judge on Argentina's version of the Masked Singer and she's now confirmed on Instagram that she'll be presenting the country's Masterchef as well.

"I’m the new presenter of Masterchef Argentina," she took to social media to say, "And I’m so happy to continue to grow at the Channel Family.

"To all the great team, thank you for trusting me. I can't wait to start with my colleagues that I admire so much."

Such is the ridiculous nature of her relationship with Icardi that there's barely any news about his actual football career these days, rather it's all been geared towards what's going on with her.

The 29-year-old is in good form in the Turkish Super Lig, having scored nine goals in just 12 league games for table topping Galatasaray.

He has now been joined in Istanbul by a familiar face in the form of Nicolo Zaniolo, who was able to force a move away from Roma earlier this week.

The Italy forward sounds just as popular as Icardi often is, and reportedly received just three farewell texts from former teammates at the Stadio Olimpico.
