Mauro Icardi Could Face Punishment From PSG Amid Cheating Accusations From Wife Wanda Nara

Mauro Icardi Could Face Punishment From PSG Amid Cheating Accusations From Wife Wanda Nara

Despite their support for Mauro Icardi in his relationship saga with Wanda Nara, PSG have not ruled out a fine for the Argentine striker.

Mauro Icardi could reportedly find himself in hot water with Paris Saint-Germain, despite appearing to heal his relationship split with wife Wanda Nara.

Wanda, who engineered Icardi’s move to PSG, accused her husband of cheating on her with a “s**t” and accused him of ‘ruining another family.’

The 34-year-old Argentine model and TV presenter left the French capital with her five children amid her relationship row with Icardi.

Icardi was permitted to leave PSG training on Sunday and Monday for family reasons, with the Argentine travelling to Milan in a bid to save his relationship with Wanda.

Mauricio Pochettino included the 28-year-old striker in his squad for PSG’s Champions League clash with RB Leipzig on Tuesday.

However, Icardi told the PSG head coach he was not in the right mindset to play and was left out of the squad for the 3-2 win at the Parc des Princes.

According to Marca, the PSG star could face a fine from the Ligue 1 club for not participating in training and not being available for the Leipzig match.

The Spanish newspaper reports that it has ‘not been ruled out completely’ that Icardi could face the aforementioned fine, despite the club supporting him in his family situation.

Le Parisien claimed that the decision to leave Icardi out of the Leipzig clash came after the former Inter Milan captain spoke with PSG’s hierarchy and coaching staff.

And PSG have been ‘keeping a close eye on’ Icardi’s situation and are ‘looking to support him in whatever way they can.’

Icardi, who has been married to Wanda since 2014, took to social media on the weekend and attempted to squash speculation over the public fallout with his wife.

However, Wanda appeared to fire back at the Argentina international with a brutal message on Instagram.

According to reports in France, Icardi was prepared to walk away from PSG if his relationship with Wanda wasn’t fixed.

It would appear that Icardi and Wanda have put aside their differences and reunited after the PSG striker thanked his wife on social media.

“Thank you, my love, for continuing to believe in this beautiful family, thanks for being the motor of our lives. I love you,” he wrote in an Instagram post.

“Look how much it hurts when you harm the ones you love. You only feel right again when the ones you hurt forgive you.”

Icardi uploaded another photo of him and Wanda to the social media platform and sent a heartfelt message to the mother of his children.

“Hold me tight, and never let go of me, Wanda,” he wrote.

Maxi Lopez, who was Icardi’s former teammate at Sampdoria, accused Wanda of cheating on him with the ex-Inter captain.

Wanda had three sons with Lopez -- Valentino, Constantino and Benedicto -- before they split and now raises them with her two daughters (Francesca and Isabella) from her relationship with Icardi.
