Manchester United and Arsenal are amongst four Premier League clubs interested in signing La Liga star Luiz Henrique from Real Betis.

Reports in Spain say that both clubs have sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old sensation who has provided eight goal contributions in 22 games for his club this season.

He's established himself as the star of former Premier League manager Manuel Pellegrini's side with Betis currently occupying the final European spot in La Liga as well as qualifying for the last 16 of the Europa League.

In Betis' recent super cup semi-final penalty shootout defeat to Barcelona Henrique also impressed further by registering two assists.

Given this form it's not a surprise to see him attract interest from the Premier League, with both Mikel Arteta and Erik ten Hag looking to strengthen their options in a bid to boost their title ambitions.

Premier League bidding war?

As well as United and Arsenal, outlet Marca, as reported by Football365, have claimed that Newcastle United and Aston Villa are also interested in securing the services of Henrique.

All four clubs are 'considering' a bid which could leave the player spoilt for choice.

The Brazilian has a release clause of €100m so it's likely that Villa would be priced out, with the three other clubs also looking more likely to challenge for Europe.

Henrique only moved to Spain from his native country back in the summer, but it hasn't taken him long to adapt, and

with both Ten Hag and Arteta known for their development of young players he fits the bill perfectly.

The likelihood of United spending that amount of money in January is small but with Arsenal recently missing out on Mykhailo Mudryk to rivals Chelsea, maybe it's more of a possibility for the Gunners.

Either way he would be a good addition to both sides and provide great long term attacking threat.
