Fulham will be without their star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic against Man United on Sunday.

The "unbelievable" forward missed Fulham's narrow loss at the Etihad last week due to his foot injury and has now been ruled out for the final game before the World Cup break.

The club from the capital have made a great start to life in the Premier League this season despite many writing them off earlier in the year.

Marco Silva says Mitrovic will miss the game on Sunday

The Fulham boss addressed fitness concerns in his press conference on Friday.

"Mitrovic will not play on Sunday," Silva said. "It will be more or less the same players who are available.

"We have two players who have had a fifth yellow card, so we will make some changes, like we did against (Manchester) City last week.

Talking about United, Silva said: "They haven't been consistent like they would like to be.

"If they are at their best level, they are a really tough team to play against and that is what we will prepare for."

Silva was also asked for his thoughts on players potentially having one eye on the World Cup during the final round of Premier League fixtures.

"Every time our players play for their national teams, we have to be proud of them.

"It is a good sign for us as well," he added.

Mitrovic has been included in Serbia's World Cup squad despite some injury concerns.

The World Cup gets underway next Sunday when Qatar take on Ecuador.

England will face Iran in their first game of the tournament next Monday.
