Manchester United take on La Liga’s Cadiz as part of a mid-season tour of Spain during the World Cup break.

Erik ten Hag has taken a youthful Man Utd squad on the mid-season tour, with a number of first-teamers still away on World Cup duty in Qatar.

The Red Devils had 16 players on international duty, including the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire.

Here is how ten Hag’s side could line up.

Man Utd vs Cadiz: Kick-off time

Manchester United take on Cadiz on Wednesday, December 7, with the game kicking off at 7pm GMT.

The fixture will be broadcast live on MUTV, with subscribers able to tune in to the live coverage from 6pm GMT.

Man Utd vs Cadiz: Team news

Senior players including David de Gea, Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial are all likely to get minutes, as Man Utd build up to the return of the Premier League season.

Ten Hag’s 29-man squad also includes star youngsters Zidane Iqbal and Alejandro Garnacho. Both players are likely to start at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla, given the depleted state of the Man Utd squad.

Meanwhile, Teden Mengi is set to start at centre-back given the participation of Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane in the World Cup latter stages.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has only played four minutes of first-team football this term, is likely to take part given Diogo Dalot’s World Cup involvement with Portugal.

Man Utd vs Cadiz: Predicted lineup

Predicted XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Mengi, Williams; McTominay, Iqbal, Van de Beek; Elanga, Martial, Garnacho.
