Is Man Utd Vs Aston Villa On TV? Live Stream, Kick Off Time And Team News

All you need to know about Man Utd vs Aston Villa

Manchester United face fellow Premier League side Aston Villa today as they step up their preparations for the new season.

So far, United’s pre-season campaign has been nothing short of perfect. The Red Devils’ new manager, Erik Ten Hag, will be very pleased with his team’s performances.

His side has won all three of their games, netting themselves eleven goals in the process.

Ten Hag looks to have completely transformed the Man United side that struggled last season.

He will hope to continue this run of form in his remaining pre-season matches, building the team's fluidity before the Premier League begins on 6th August.

However, this next fixture won't be an easy game for United, with Steven Gerard’s Aston Villa also emerging victorious in all of their pre-season fixtures to date,

Villa will be the third and final Premier League side that the Red Devils will face, so if they can emerge victorious once again, it will no doubt give a huge confidence boost to Ten Hag's team.

The match kicks off at 10.45 AM BST, and will take place in the Optus Stadium in Australia.

The game won't be shown on traditional TV, however, fans can watch both on the MUTV app (which requires a monthly subscription), on ManUtd.com or on Villa TV.

Man Utd Vs Aston Villa Team News:

Manchester United, as they have done throughout the tour, will likely play a mixture of their first-team contenders and younger starlets.

One player who may be a doubt for the game is the Scottish midfielder, Scott McTominay, who missed training yesterday.

Two players who didn't feature against Crystal Palace, but may be in action today are James Garner and Raphael Varane,

Man United’s recent signings Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez will not be involved in the game, having not made the trip over to Australia with the rest of the squad

As for Villa, their manager Steven Gerrard has suggested that it is more than likely that his side will be a full-strength side.

He commented at a press conference that: "We’ve prepared well and it’s the last push. The tour’s been fantastic so far and we want to finish on a high.”

So with the Liverpool legend looking to “really push certain individuals”, Manchester United will definitely be facing a side that is ready to fight.
