A Manchester United fan has hilariously created a system to monitor the club's transfer rumours and there's already 45 names on the list.

Erik ten Hag's debut campaign at Man United is nearly in the books, with just one game left of the season - a big showdown against Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

He could add another trophy to his haul having already bagged the Carabao Cup, with the Red Devils also securing Champions League football for next season.

Once the season is over, the Dutch boss appears set to have a busy summer as he's keen to reinforce his side, with a host of players linked with a move to Old Trafford.

And a fan has attempted to keep up with the transfer targets by listing every player linked with a switch to Man United.

Twitter user @UnitedPeoplesTV has set it up and the list already includes a whopping 45 players.

From Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar and Tottenham forward Harry Kane to Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong and Napoli's Kim Min-jae.

The social media user tweeted: "Over the course of the summer, we’re going to have a whiteboard that we’ll update with players linked to United, moves that are happening and it’ll all be interactive. Looking for some help! What players have we already been linked with that aren’t on this list?"

Thanks everyone who sent in some players. This will be the board across the course of the summer + we’ll move players between 4 categories - Linked, Could Happen, Moving + Done. Will try to maintain it + keep on top of what’s genuinely going on, so you can see it all in 1 place. pic.twitter.com/hXT5xZRjvD

In another post, the user added: "Thanks everyone who sent in some players. This will be the board across the course of the summer + we’ll move players between 4 categories - Linked, Could Happen, Moving + Done. Will try to maintain it + keep on top of what’s genuinely going on, so you can see it all in 1 place."

Needless to say, the idea sent social media into overdrive

One joked: "Going to need a bigger board."

A second wrote: "Will be a long summer transfer window."

A third added: "Might need to rent a truck and write all over the storage unit."

Another commented: "Just pin a list of the 200 best players in world football and you'll find a link somewhere to all of them."

Who will join Man United in the summer? Let us know.
