Diogo Dalot is one of the Manchester United players firmly in Erik ten Hag's plans for next season, according to reports.

The incoming Man United boss 'trusts' Dalot's qualities and likes his 'versatility' and 'offensive propensity'.

That's according to O Jogo who also claim that Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo are also in Ten Hag's plans for the 2022/23 campaign.

As for Dalot, he's played 23 Premier League games this term - his best return since signing for the club in 2018.

He initially played second fiddle to Aaron Wan-Bissaka during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's reign.

But the 23-year-old featured heavily once Ralf Rangnick was appointed as interim manager.

All his league starts (18) came after the Norwegian was relieved of his duties at Old Trafford.

Fernandes has been unable to replicate his sensational form from last season this term.

Though he's expected to play a big part in Man United's rebuild.

Not to mention Ronaldo who appeared to drop a hint that he will remain at the club amid uncertainty regarding his future.

"I know that he has done a fantastic job at Ajax, and that he is an experienced coach, but we have to give him time," the 37-year-old told the club's official website.

"Things must change the way he wants. If you do well, all of Manchester United will succeed, so I wish you all the best.

"We are all happy and excited [with the arrival], not only as players, but as fans as well.

"We have to believe that next year we can win titles."

Ronaldo has scored an impressive 24 goals in all competitions - including 18 goals in the Premier League. Only Mohamed Salah and Son Heung-min have scored more goals than him in the league this season.
