Manchester United Score Stunning Team Goal Against Crystal Palace, Ten Hag Ball Has Arrived

Manchester United's second goal against Crystal Palace has got fans salivating.

Manchester United fans are convinced 'Ten Hag ball' is officially here after they scored a stunning pre-season goal to double their lead against Crystal Palace.

The Red Devils bested Palace in their third pre-season outing, having beaten both Liverpool and Melbourne Victory in a fine start under their new manager.

And fans in attendance at the Melbourne Cricket Ground witnessed Ten Hag's philosophy in full flow.

United went 1-0 up in the first half through Anthony Martial, who has been leading the line with distinction after returning from his loan spell with Sevilla.

But it was the second goal, finished off by Marcus Rashford, that really excited United supporters and gave a glimpse of what brand of football they might come to expect this term.

It started with David De Gea at the back, before Bruno Fernandes picked out Martial's run with a perfect long pass.

The Frenchman took the ball out of the sky with an exquisite touch and then played it wide to Jadon Sancho, who returned it back to him once he made a run in behind.

Martial then had the intelligence to delicately lay the ball off to Donny van de Beek first time and he put it on a plate for Rashford to tap home.

Palace were cut wide open with the swift, incisive attacking play. Sancho, who has been on fire in pre-season, added a third goal shortly after with a cool finish from a Martial pass in behind.

Patrick Vieira's side pulled one back in the 74th minute when De Gea couldn't keep out Joel Ward's header from a corner.

Youngster Will Fish was sent off late on for a professional foul just outside the area.

United's final fixture in the Australian leg of their tour sees them take on another Premier League side in Aston Villa in Perth on 23 July.

They will play last season's Champions League round of 16 opponents Atletico Madrid in Norway on 30 July - a day before hosting Rayo Vallecano - another La Liga outfit - at Old Trafford.
