The starting XIs for Liverpool vs Manchester United have been confirmed - and both Jurgen Klopp and Erik ten Hag have made changes from their last fixture.

Klopp's Reds are looking to extend their unbeaten league run to four games as they chase Champions League qualification.

Ten Hag's United, meanwhile, are hoping to close the gap to second-placed Manchester City, who beat Newcastle 2-0 on Saturday.

The Red Devils have not lost a game in any competition since the 3-2 defeat to league leaders Arsenal on January 22, and have won nine of their last 11 fixtures.

United did have key injury concerns heading into the fixture, with Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho and Luke Shaw all requiring late fitness tests, as per The United Stand and Daily Mail.

Liverpool, meanwhile, had injury issues of their own, with Naby Keita having missed Wednesday's 2-0 win over Wolves with a knock. Thiago and Luis Diaz were both ruled out by Klopp as they continue their recoveries from injury.

Both sides have now named their starting XIs for the match - and there are changes.

Liverpool have made three changes from the side that defeated Wolves, with Andrew Robertson, Jordan Henderson and Cody Gakpo replacing Kostas Tsimikas, Stefan Bajcetic and Diogo Jota.

United, meanwhile, make a total of six changes from the side that beat West Ham 3-1 in the FA Cup, with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez amongst those returning to the XI.

Luke Shaw has also been passed fit to start after missing Wednesday's fixture, replacing Tyrell Malacia. Casemiro also returns to the line-up.

Fred is also back in the side, along with Marcus Rashford. Scott McTominay, Marcel Sabitzer and Alejandro Garnacho drop down to the bench.

Jadon Sancho, meanwhile, is also named on the bench after recovering from an illness which ruled out him out of the West Ham clash.
