Liverpool 'Keeping Their Eyes On' Real Madrid Youngster Short Of Games

Liverpool are interested in a Real Madrid player they wanted to sign last summer and isn't getting much time to play under Carlo Ancelotti.

Jurgen Klopp has his sights set on a move for a Real Madrid youngster, who is currently failing to get enough game time under Carlo Ancelotti.

Liverpool are unlikely to be dipping into the transfer window this summer, with Klopp's side having already got through most of their period without Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Klopp was even left celebrating with fans on Sunday evening, having reduced the gap to Manchester City, by handing out beers to fans who'd been at the game with Crystal Palace.

In the summer however, the Reds will be looking to add to their team, especially if they decide to sell Salah with just a year left on his deal.

One player they could make a move for his Real midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, with Spanish outlet El Nacional claiming the Premier League club are interested in signing the youngster.

Camavinga only moved to Real from Rennes last summer, signing for around £30 million, after they managed to beat Manchester United and PSG to the signing.

The 19-year-old came with a big reputation for the work he'd already done in France, having already earnt senior caps, and with a lot of potential still to come.

Life at Real started pretty well for Camavinga, who made multiple appearances early on and had a brilliant highlights package when scoring on debut against Celta Vigo.

However game time has since dried up somewhat and Ancelotti isn't playing him as much as the player would have wanted, with Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro still considered the starting midfield.

The player is thought to be unhappy that promises over how much he'd play haven't been kept and Klopp is a serious admirer of the midfielder.

Having not yet really replaced Georginio Wijnaldum, and with James Milner's contract up in the summer, the German may look to sign a midfielder come July.

Camavinga could be the club's target, although the report does say that Los Blancos have no interest in selling the player so early after signing him.

As he's just a teenager, Klopp could be willing to wait a while for a player he is clearly a keen admirer of.
