Bellingham's private transfer chat with Dortmund teammates revealed as preferred move confirmed

His preferred destination has been revealed.

Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham is 'dreaming' of a move to Real Madrid after a private conversation with his Borussia Dortmund teammates was revealed.

The 19-year-old has been the subject of interest from Europe's elite this season, with a summer move on the cards.

Liverpool are thought to be frontrunners for his signature having made him their priority transfer.

Meanwhile, Dortmund are expected to demand well over £100million for their prized asset, who is under contract until 2025.

However, it has now been revealed that Bellingham 'dreams' of a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Bellingham 'dreams' of Real Madrid move

Spanish journalist Santi Aouna has claimed that Bellingham told his Dortmund teammates that he is keen to move to Real Madrid and 'dreams' of playing for the Spanish club.

Aouna also revealed that the midfielder had an appointment alongside his father and Real Madrid chief, Juni Calafat at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London.

Zinedine Zidane is said to be a major influence on his decision and reportedly invited Bellingham's father to his executive box during the 2022 Champions League final.

Real Madrid pairing Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are out of contract at the end of the season. Although Modric is said to have expressed his desire to remain at the Bernabeu for a further year.

Whilst Kroos has publicly announced he is in discussions with the club hierarchy over a new deal.

Spanish outlet MARCA report that Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the ageing trio of Modric, Kroos and Karim Benzema remain the 'backbone' of his side.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail recently claimed that Real could delay their move for Bellingham by a year, when they can offer him a sizeable salary.

Bellingham is allegedly considering extending his stay in Germany, with the player eager to remain a crucial part of Gareth Southgate's Euro 2024 plans.
