Liverpool Flop Loris Karius Is Looking Absolutely Massive, He Hasn't Been Away From The Gym

Loris Karius is still a Liverpool player but he's looking very different these days.

Loris Karius might not be spending any time on the pitch but he's clearly been busy in the gym if recent photos are anything to go by.

The goalkeeper, who is still contracted to Liverpool, posted a picture of him in gym attire after a workout - captioning the post "An afternoon well spent" accompanied by a strong muscle emoji.

And that emoji was very fitting given the German looks absolutely massive at the moment.

Karius was a Liverpool training top that was of a tight fitting but the former Mainz man showed off a jacked and shredded physique.

The 28-year-old had more of a scrawny build when he was Liverpool's first-choice goalkeeper but fast forward to the present and his arms are enormous.

A fan in the comments called Karius "a beast", while another said, "Wow someones [sic] been in the gym".

Karius signed for Liverpool in 2016 and was given the No.1 shirt. He's played 49 times in all competitions but has not played for the club since the 2018 Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Karius gifted Real two goals in a 3-1 defeat in Kyiv with errors for strikes by Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.

In tears at the final whistle, Karius apologised to the Liverpool fans but ended up receiving a number of death threats on social media.

He ended up signing a two-year loan deal with Besiktas following the capture of Alisson Becker from Roma, but had his contracted terminated in May 2020 following issues regarding unpaid wages.

Karius then spent last season at Union Berlin but only made five appearances. He now finds himself as Jurgen Klopp's fourth choice 'keeper, behind Alisson, Caoimhin Kelleher and Adrian Lopez.
