Wayne Rooney has topped the charts for the player with the most goal contributions in the Premier League since the turn of the century.

In a recent vote, Manchester United's all time top goalscorer was named as the best British player in football history, which is some achievement.

Rooney's goal scoring feats in the Premier League saw him come closer to anyone to catching Alan Shearer's record of 260 goals in the competition.

With 64 assists, Shearer is also top of the most goal contribution list but Rooney is only 13 off him when it comes to that and if it's only counted in the past 22 years, then the former England star leads the way by miles.

The former Derby County manager is top of the list from this century by 49 goal contributions, to Frank Lampard, in a list compiled by PopFoot.
