A stunning compilation of Lionel Messi's performances this season for club and country shows he's back to his very best.

Messi had a slow start to his Paris Saint-Germain career following his move from Barcelona.

But he's firing on all cylinders this term, starring for PSG and Argentina.

He's already chipped in with six goals for PSG in all competitions this season and has delivered heroics on the international stage ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

Aside from his goals, Messi has provided eight assists for PSG and Argentina, having formed a brilliant partnership with Kylian Mbappe and former Barcelona teammate Neymar.

His individual highlights from this season have been compiled in a sensational video.

The clip, titled: "Lionel Messi • 2022 • The Comeback," has gone viral on social media.

Needless to say, the compilation of Messi got fans talking online.

Messi has rediscovered his form for PSG and he continued his goal-scoring ways for Argentina.

He scored a brace against Honduras and shone in a cameo appearance versus Jamaica.

The 35-year-old will return to club duty this weekend as PSG return resume their league campaign against Nice on Saturday.
