Messi Has Scored The Most Goals For One Club In The Top Five European Leagues

Lionel Messi has just surpassed Bayern Munich hero Gerd Muller for scoring the most goals (525) for one club in the top five European leagues.

Legend.

He matched his long-standing record against Villarreal a few weeks, and has now broken it against their old rivals Real Madrid in El Clasico. What a place to etch himself into the record books.

The Argentine ace is already the top scorer in the clubs history (525) not to mention La Liga history (362). But he's behind Cristiano Ronaldo when it comes to the Champions League.

The Portuguese star has 114 goals to his name, with Messi weighing in with 97 in Europe's elite competition.

Take a bow, Lionel.
