Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia tried to distract Kylian Mbappe before he stepped up to take a penalty in last weekend's clash against Real Madrid, but it didn't exactly go to plan.
Los Blancos continued their unbeaten start to the La Liga season on Saturday night with a 4-1 victory over Manolo Gonzalez's side, who took a surprise lead in the 54th minute.
However, four minutes later, Dani Carvajal equalised for the home side before Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe completed the scoring to extend their unbeaten streak to 38 games in the league.

Mbappe, who joined the Spanish giants this summer on a five-year deal, netted his fourth goal in three La Liga games as Madrid came from behind to secure all three points.
He stepped up from the spot in stoppage time after Endrick was brought down in the box, just two minutes after coming on.
Mbappe looked confident as he waited to take his spot-kick, even after Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia made an attempt to get in the Frenchman's head.

But as you can see in the footage below, Mbappe was unfazed by Garcia's distraction tactics; something that tickled teammate Lucas Vazquez.
Lip readers on X, formerly Twitter, suggest the former Paris Saint-Germain forward responded by saying something along the lines of: “I don’t understand one f****** word you’re trying to say to me.”
Here's how fans on social media reacted to the scenes.
One said: "No wonder Vasquez was laughing, this is crazy," while another commented: "Classic Mbappe. He knows how to keep his focus even with distractions. Nothing gets in his way."

A third wrote: "If Emiliano Martinez can't get to your head then no one can tbh."
A fourth said: "This would be funnier if he responded in Spanish, further throwing off Espanyol's keeper," and a fifth added: "Mbappe has got no chill."
Ahead of Saturday's game at the Bernabeu, it was reported that Carlo Ancelotti was said to be considering making a change to his team in a bid to fit both Kylian Mbappe and Endrick into his side.
