Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has dropped the biggest hint yet that Kylian Mbappe will leave Paris Saint-Germain and join Los Blancos in the summer.

A significant breakthrough regarding Mbappe's future emerged on Saturday night.

A report from ESPN emerged claiming that Mbappe will join the La Liga club once his contract with PSG expires at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

In fact, the 25-year-old forward is expected to announce his decision to join Madrid next week.

The report goes on to suggest that Mbappe has not yet informed either PSG or Real Madrid about his decision but he feels it's 'the right time in his career' to make a move he has always dreamt of.

The 25-year-old, who has been linked with a move for some time, will also take a wage cut to join the Spanish club after PSG offered him a pay rise.

After the above reports emerged, Mbappe began to trend on social media, with plenty of people having their say on the proposed transfer.

Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior even got involved by 'liking' a post on Instagram that announced Mbappe's impending arrival at the Bernabeu.

As you can see in the screenshot below, Complex Sneakers posted a graphic of Mbappe and Vinicius that read: "Kylian Mbappe to join Vini Jr. at Real Madrid."

They also captioned the post: "Two Sneaker Shopping legends are linking up at Bernabéu soon."

Here's how fans on social media reacted to Vinicius' activity.

One said: "Oh they know what’s up," while another commented: "Let's goo he is coming."

A third wrote "Vini knows something we don't," and a fourth added: "Vini and Mbappe will cause defenders nightmares."

Back in October, the Brazilian forward admitted he wants to play alongside Mbappe in the Spanish capital, saying: "Everyone here wants to play with Kylian. I hope it happens one day. He is one of the best players, maybe the best."
