Fans can't believe what Youtuber Thogden did when Barcelona scored their second goal against Real Madrid

Youtuber Thogden may not be welcomed back to the Santiago Bernabeu by Real Madrid fans after his antics in their 4-0 El Clasico thumping at the hands of Barcelona.

It was simply not Real Madrid’s night in the Spanish capital as their arch-rivals ran riot.

Heading in at half-time, the scores were level despite Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe having the ball in the net, which was only denied by the offside flag.

However, whatever Barca boss Hansi Flick said at half-time worked as he watched on as his side tore Madrid’s defence apart, going ahead through Robert Lewandowski on 54 minutes.

Two minutes later, the Poland international doubled Barca’s lead to the dismay of the Los Blancos faithful.

British football YouTuber Thogden was sat near where the action happened and filmed what was going on in the stands following the second goal - with several of the Madrid fans shouting and gesturing to the celebrating Barcelona players.

“It’s kicking off,” said Thogden.

“Guys, calm down, calm down. It’s just football.”

Fans were quick to weigh in with their thoughts on social media.

One said: “If an English lad stuck a camera on me telling me to calm down whilst my team proceeded to lose 4-0 in the biggest game of the year, my head would be beyond mars and back.”

A second compared this to how they would feel, saying: “If Thogden was sat in the Gwladys [street] telling me to calm down as [Mohamed] Salah celebrates in front of me, my head would be HOT.”

With a third adding: “Does he think he’s the police or something.”

It is fair to say Thogden may not have made many new friends in Madrid last night.

The YouTuber did not get his wish of calming the fans down as Barca continued their attacking onslaught on Andriy Lunin’s goal, with Lamine Yamal scoring his first El Clasico goal before Raphinha finished the job with a sumptuous chip on 84 minutes.

The victory handed Barcelona a six-point advantage at the top of La Liga as they look to secure their first Spanish top-flight since the 2022-23 season when Xavi was at the helm. As for Madrid, the inquest will have already began with Mbappe and Jude Bellingham criticised for their lacklustre performances.
