The reason why La Liga giants Barcelona will be wearing white shorts for their match against Las Palmas has been revealed.
On Saturday afternoon Barcelona look to continue their electric form in La Liga as they welcome a relegation-threatened Las Palmas side to the Nou Camp.
During the match, the current La Liga leaders will be straying away from their traditional kit by wearing white shorts for the home match.

And now, the reason behind their change of kit has been revealed.
Barcelona players on Saturday will be dressed in white shorts as part of the club’s current 125th anniversary celebrations and to pay tribute to the origins of the team.
Back when Barcelona was founded in 1899 players wore blaugrana shirts and white shorts and therefore they will do the same for the La Liga match this weekend.

Celebration of the historic anniversary have been taken throughout the week, including during a special gala on Friday night that was attended by members of the current squad as well as several former players and managers.
Club legends Ronald Koeman, Gerard Piqué, Xavi Hernández and Henrik Larsson were among the guests at the gala.
Although he couldn't attend the gala the club's greatest ever player Lionel Messi paid tribute to the club in a video message given to TV show El Nou Clam, via The Athletic.
“First of all, to congratulate them for this 125th anniversary; to tell them I am proud to be part of this club, to be a Barcelona fan

“I had the good fortune that God made me arrive there, and I could pass a lifetime at this marvellous club,” Messi said.
“A special club, different to others, with how difficult it is these days to be a different club, and for how everything in football is now.”
Messi was reportedly invited to attend the gala but couldn't attend due to prior commitments with commercial partners.
