Starring as the FIFA cover star for the second year in a row, the Paris-born prodigy has quickly affirmed himself as one of the most sought-after players in world football.
Playing in front of a home crowd week in, week out, Mbappe's exceptional form over the years has not gone unnoticed, with the Paris Saint-Germain talisman receiving huge upgrades on FIFA over the years.
So far, during his short and illustrious career, the 22-year-old forward - widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world - has scored a staggering 139 goals for both club and country.
On FIFA 17, Mbappe was a fresh-faced 17-year-old at Monaco and was practically an unusable player on the game, with a below a par overall rating of just 71 - including just 67 finishing.
However, after a stellar campaign for the French outfit, the forward earned a move to the Ligue 1 rivals PSG.
Mbappe’s move saw his overall rating go through the roof after it was boosted to 83, boasting 87 finishing, 89 acceleration and 90 sprint speed. How’s that for an upgrade?
Since his blockbuster move to PSG, Mbappe has since seen his FIFA rating soar after earning multiple upgrades on the game since his induction five years ago.
Now rated an overall of 91, Mbappe has seen his pace, shooting and physical stats rise astronomically, with the star now rated one of the best players to use on the game.
Should Mbappe have a brilliant 2021/22 season with PSG, you can expect him to receive another boost to his overall rating in FIFA 23, however, he may very well be at a different club by then.
Mbappe's addition to the game saw him implemented as a silver card with an individual stat of 67 shooting to his name.
At just 17, the world and FIFA fans alike would come to realise at the end of the season just how good the young man would become, especially after bagging several in-forms and a 'Team of the Season' (TOTS) card.
Mbappe's rise on FIFA was quickly noted during the 2017/18 season after he secured a staggering 12 special cards during the season and yet another TOTS to his name.
Unsurprisingly, Mbappe's astronomical rise did not end there, either.
On FIFA 19, the PSG talisman secured yet another TOTS, as well as cementing himself among the world's very best, earning himself a prestigious Team of the Year (TOTY) card.
As you can imagine, FIFA 20 saw yet another successful year for Mbappe after claiming an array of special cards.
Interestingly, it was the first year that saw his weak foot boost from four to five stars.
On the face of it, the upgrade may not sound like a lot, but only a handful of FIFA's very best were equipped with the trait that year - paramount to scoring when on a player's weaker side.
FIFA 21 was a huge year for Mbappe after he secured a TOTY card for the third season running, among a host of special upgrades to his name.
Mbappe's rise from a silver 71 rating to becoming the fifth best player with a rating of 91 on the game is some jump.
FIFA fans can expect the 22-year-old to receive a host of in-forms come the start of the game, too, especially if he continues his stellar start to the season in the domestic and European competitions.
