Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema shared a quick hug in their first meeting since the Real Madrid transfer saga and their exchange.
Benzema reported for national team duty and arrived at France's Clairefontaine training base on Monday following his Champions League triumph.
He helped his side win their 14th European title after beating Liverpool in Paris.

The 34-year-old will switch his attention to international football ahead of France's Nations League matches against Denmark, Croatia and Austria.
And he was given a warm welcome by his international teammates, with Benzema sharing a warm embrace with Mbappe despite what's been said over the Paris Saint-Germain star's decision to turn down the Spanish giants.
Speaking about Mbappe staying at PSG and rejecting a move to Real, Benzema said: "I would have liked him to have been able to fulfil his dream of playing for Real Madrid, being together.

"He chose PSG, we must respect him. It’s his choice, he has a lot of responsibilities.
"We will enjoy playing together in the national team. Everyone makes their own choices.
"Real Madrid are Real Madrid, I’m not disappointed. We are good friends, it won’t affect our relationship."
Benzema, though, reacted to Mbappe's Real snub with a cryptic post on social media.

He shared a picture of rapper Tupac Shakur, with a friend who eventually betrayed him in an apparent dig at the 23-year-old.
But Mbappe played down the social media post.
"You don’t have to have done Saint-Cyr [French military training] to understand that it comes from above, right?" He said.
"I didn’t want to overdo it. I know everyone was talking about Karim and Kylian, Kylian and Karim... but when we were with the national team, we were only talking about the evening meal. We weren’t talking about Real Madrid.

"I didn’t want to force this thing. When we see each other, we’ll discuss it. He’ll ask me why and I’ll explain this choice to him."
