"The ball is too round," oh thank f*ck we haven't heard that at Euro 2016. For once at a major tournament the ball hasn't been to blame for goalkeeping errors, sorry Joe. Of course the Bundesliga ball won't be too round, it'll be too efficient for that!
It's a bit of a strange phenomenon we have come tournament time that the ball might somehow be to blame for daring to go in, usually moving to much. It really reached its nadir during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Nobody could control the infamous Jabulani, goalkeepers or strikers, apart from Diego Forlan who mastered it.
Anyway it seems that ball manufacturers have got it right this year for the Euros and they never seem to have an issue with balls for the league. Here's what Adidas will be supplying to the German league:
