Kim Kardashian sent the internet into meltdown on Thursday night after turning up to watch Arsenal's Europa League round of 16 second leg with Sporting CP.

The billionaire media personality and influencer, who has 348 million followers on Instagram, is reportedly filming part of a documentary in London and decided to head to the Emirates Stadium with her son Saint West.

She posted a series of snaps and videos on Instagram as the Gunners lost on penalties after a 3-3 aggregate scoreline, with Gabriel Martinelli the only player missing from 12 yards.

The 42-year-old went viral for her priceless expression after the Brazilian's effort was saved by goalkeeping Antonio Adan.

Kardashian's second-eldest child Saint, 7, has developed a love for Arsenal and was spotted wearing the club's third kit at his birthday party in January.

And while in the stands watching the North London outfit, fans were surprised by the name on the back of his shirt.

Was it Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard or Oleksandr Zinchenko? Nope, Saint had the name and number of Arsenal women's star Katie McCabe, who captains the Republic of Ireland national team.

His friend appeared to be a fan of Vivianne Mederma, who has scored a ridiculous 114 goals in 132 games for the club.

The choice of player garnered plenty of reaction, with so many people loving the fandom displayed.

One said: "Kim Kardashian & Kanye West’s child wearing a Katie McCabe Arsenal shirt. Our captain is a global superstar."

A second added: "Kim Kardashian knowing who Katie McCabe is has broken my brain for today."

A third weighed in: "I'm pretty late to this party but I just can’t believe my eyes. Kim Kardashian’s son, Saint, watching the men’s UEL game last night, wearing a Katie McCabe shirt. Absolutely, categorically bonkers - but unbelievably brilliant for exposure of the game."

Another said: "Kim Kardashian near broke the internet after wearing a vintage Roma shirt and now Saint West is a Katie McCabe fan? I’m living for the year of superb Kardashian-West football revelations tbh."

McCabe herself responded to the crazy exposure, writing: "Saint West has good taste.”

It was also pretty obvious who Kardashian's favourite was, after cameras captured her filming Saka's penalty in the shoot-out.
