Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scores stunning solo goal to give Napoli the lead, he is unstoppable

Napoli superstar Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored a stunning solo goal to give his side the lead against Atalanta.

Heading into Saturday’s fixtures, table-topping Napoli were hoping to extend their lead over Inter Milan to 18 points with a victory.

Against Atalanta, they faced a stubborn defence with the first half ending 0-0 after a cagey battle.

However, Napoli’s superstar winger Kvaratskhelia turned on the style as the clock ticked over the hour mark.

Victor Osimhen did well to play in the Georgian on the left hand side, he took on the Atalanta defenders, sat pretty much all of them down before slotting into the back of the net.

No wonder he has been dubbed the Georgian Messi and Kvaradona by fans around the world, a truly stunning goal.

Fans were quick to react to Kvaratskhelia’s effort.

One said: “More hot dogs here than an IKEA cafe, this guy is next level.”

Another tweeted: “Kvaradona! He shouldn’t be allowed to leave Napoli, it just fits perfectly.”

A third fan added: “I cannot repeat myself enough, he is him.”

Someone else wrote: “That dribbling was lethal!”

Whilst a fifth commented: “Seriously! How good is this guy?? What a wonderful player, what a bargain too! Mad business from Napoli.”

After his impressive season so far with Napoli, Kvaratskhelia has been linked with a move to the Premier League. The likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool have previously been linked with a move for the 22-year-old.

17 minutes after Kvaratskhelia’s opener, Napoli doubled their lead courtesy of Amir Rrahmani.

This is the perfect response from Napoli after their closest rivals for the Serie A title, Inter, dropped points on Friday night.

Simone Inzaghi’s side were beaten 2-1 by Spezia, after a late penalty scored by M’bala Nzola.

Can Napoli go all the way and lift the Serie A title this season? Only time will tell.
