Real Madrid moved a step closer to the La Liga title on Wednesday night with a 3-1 win at Osasuna.
Goals from David Alaba, Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez helped Carlo Ancelotti's side to victory at El Sadar Stadium.
Madrid had to wait until the final minute of extra time to wrap up the match but it could have been a lot more comfortable for the visitors had striker Karim Benzema not missed two penalties in the space of seven second-half minutes.
The France international saw both of his spot kicks saved by Osasuna goalkeeper Sergio Herrera.

It was an uncharacteristically wasteful performance from Benzema and fans have spotted a hilarious moment in the final minute of the match when the striker was left for dead in foot race – not by an opposition player, but by Spanish referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea.
After playing a forward ball to one of his teammates, Benzema then sprinted forward to join the counter-attack.
De Burgos Bengoetxea, also keen to keep up with play, set off running alongside Benzema in the centre of the pitch.

The referee gradually pulled clear of the Frenchman, with the move eventually ending in a goal for Vazquez.
"Benzema took a look at the ref and said nah I ain't doing this," joked one Real Madrid supporter on Twitter.
Another wrote: "Extra time in the 110th minute, I’m choosing this referee over anybody on our bench. That man can fly."

Victory for Real Madrid moves them 17 points clear of their closest rivals Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga.
Ancelotti's side will be crowned champions this weekend if Barcelona, who have two games in hand, lose their next two matches against Real Sociedad on Thursday and Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
