Real Madrid reach agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign Jude Bellingham, according to stunning reports.

David Ornstein claims the transfer fee is in excess of €100 million (£86 million), with the 19-year-old set to undergo a medical in the coming days before completing his move.

The report also states the 'deal is not yet signed but that is among the formalities that will follow'.

The Spanish giants appear to have beaten the likes of Manchester City in landing Bellingham, with Madrid to be the England international's preferred destination.

Man City had been linked with Bellingham as they looked to strengthen their midfielder ahead of the new season.

But they did not submit offers or provide financial numbers to Dortmund of the player regarding a transfer fee or salary.

Bellingham made his name at boyhood club Birmingham City before Dortmund snapped him up for in a transfer worth a reported £25 million.

He's enhanced his budding reputation in Germany, making 132 appearances for the club as they narrowly missed out on the Bundesliga title this season.

The star midfielder also produced heroics for England at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and has 24 international caps to his name.

Real are set to acquire one of the best talents in world football and will bolster their midfield options ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

The La Liga side already have the likes of French duo Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouamnni at their disposal.

Not to mention Federico Valverde as well as Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, who are both still at the club.
