Liverpool target Jude Bellingham has already turned down two of Europe’s elite clubs, according to reports in Germany.

The England star is one of the most sought-after talents in world football.

His exploits for Borussia Dortmund this season, and with the Three Lions at the World Cup has attracted the attention of the world’s biggest clubs.

Indeed, on the continent Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are both reported to have registered in interest in the 19-year-old.

Meanwhile, Bellingham is also on the radar of Premier League giants including Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

However Dortmund, who have refined 19-year-old’s talents since he made the move to Germany in 2020, are also keen to retain the player beyond the summer.

Chelsea and PSG rebuffed by Bellingham

According to Sport1 journalist Patrick Berger, via BVB Newsblog, Bellingham has already turned down approaches from both Chelsea and PSG.

The report has claimed the England star is uncertain of his future, with Dortmund wanting to make him their highest earner with an annual salary of approximately €15million (£13.3million).

However the Bundesliga club are said to be waiting for the midfielder to make a decision on his future before offering the new bumper deal.

While Liverpool have long been tipped as Bellingham’s most likely destination the player is allegedly hesitant to move to Merseyside given the club’s current Premier League woes.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are languishing in tenth in the table, some 11 points adrift of Newcastle United in the final Champions League spot.

Amid growing disarray on Merseyside, Bellingham reportedly wants to know the direction of the club before making a move.

Liverpool have reportedly cited Bellingham as their number one target for the summer.

The club are in dire need of a midfield rebuild, with their first choice trio - Jordan Henderson, Thiago Alcantara and Fabinho - having endured terrible seasons.

Meanwhile fringe players Naby Keita and Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain are both set to depart in the summer upon the expiry of their contracts.
