'AI Jordan Peterson' weighs in on Erling Haaland vs Kylian Mbappe debate, it's freaking fans out

An AI of controversial psychologist Jordan Peterson has duped countless fans into believing that he has weighed in on the Kylian Mbappe vs Erling Haaland debate.

Mbappe and Haaland have been tipped by many fans to be the next big rivalry in football after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo’s longstanding dominance.

Haaland has made a sensational impact in England since his move to Manchester City, with the Norwegian leading the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.

The 22-year-old City striker scored an impressive 86 times in 89 appearances for Borussia Dortmund before City snapped him up in a deal worth £51m.

Mbappe burst onto the scene at Monaco and has been hailed for his impact at Paris Saint-Germain, with the Frenchman tipped with a future move to Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old French forward has also established himself as an integral part of his country’s national team and lifted the World Cup trophy in Russia in 2018.

One TikTok user posted footage of Peterson, who has become a divisive figure by some for his outspoken views, and used an AI to make him speak about Mbappe and Haaland.

“Mbappe is 10 times better than Haaland,” says AI Peterson in the clip, before adding: “Haaland can only score easy tap-ins, but Mbappe has the pace, the skills and the charisma.

“That’s why Mbappe is the future GOAT of football.”

Footage of the AI Peterson (which can be viewed in the video player above) fooled several fans into believing it was actually the 60-year-old Canadian author.

However, switched-on fans were quick to point out that the Peterson speaking in the footage is AI, with one social media user calling it “scary.”

“AI is scary,” one fan simply said.

Someone else commented: “AI is getting scarily close to being indistinguishable.”

A third added: “WOW. AI can do this?”

Another TikTok user wrote: “AI is the future.”

While a fifth posted: “This AI is scaring AF.”
