Fans think Jake Paul has 'atrocious football knowledge' after Premier League top 10 prediction

Fans think Jake Paul has 'atrocious football knowledge' after Premier League top 10 prediction

Paul said there is 'one certainty'.

YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has caused controversy on social media after predicting the Premier League's top ten.

The 25-year-old previously admitted he doesn't follow 'soccer' at all, but the last few months have seen him develop an affection for Liverpool.

Paul has been pictured in a Liverpool jersey in the past and it'll come as no surprise he thinks Jurgen Klopp's men will be crowned Premier League champions.

It's not rocking the boat too much as the Reds finished just one point behind first place Manchester City last season.

The rest of his table, however, has infuriated fans.

He said: "Time for The Reds. #FULLIV. My prediction for this season:

1. Liverpool

2. Man City

3. Tottenham

4. Man United

5. Chelsea

6. Arsenal

7. West Ham

8. Aston Villa

9. Newcastle

10. Leicester

"Disclaimer: Only thing I know w/ 100% certainty is Liverpool is betr [sic] than Arsenal."

Paul thinks Liverpool and City will be joined in the top four by Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, with Chelsea slipping out after four consecutive seasons in the Champions League.

He's also suggested Arsenal will slip down to sixth. You get the feeling this could be a dig at longtime rival KSI, who is an Arsenal fan.

West Ham United are expected to have another strong year and 'The Problem Child' puts them seventh.

Aston Villa are the biggest movers, jumping six places to eighth under manager Steven Gerrard.

Newcastle United and Leicester City make up the final two spots despite differing transfer windows.

The Magpies have recruited shrewdly under Eddie Howe. Leicester, on the other hand, are the only team in the division to not make a transfer.

Supporters have had their say and think Paul has never watched a game in his life.

One person said: "Manchester United in fourth, atrocious ball knowledge."

Another put: "Never thought I’d see Jake Paul ranking Aston Villa and West Ham’s footy position 5 years ago."

A third tweeted: "Why is Jake talking about football?"

While someone said: "You should change your name to Joke Paul with a few of these takes."

Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by newly-promoted Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.

Aleksandar Mitrovic rose high above Trent Alexander-Arnold to head home the opener just past the half hour mark, before second half substitute Darwin Nunez equalised in the 64th minute.

Fulham found themselves back in front eight minutes later after being awarded a penalty for Virgil van Dijk's foul on Mitrovic.

The Serbia international stepped up to fire his spot kick past Alisson and put Marco Silva's side on the cusp of victory.

It wasn't meant to be however, as Mohamed Salah tapped home 10 minutes from time to ensure the points were shared.
