Jack Grealish Branded A 'Moron' For Antics At Manchester City Premier League Title Parade

Jack Grealish Branded A 'Moron' For Antics At Manchester City Premier League Title Parade

Jack Grealish was the talk of the town at Manchester City's Premier League title parade on Monday.

Jack Grealish has branded a "moron" by former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan for his antics at Manchester City's title parade.

Grealish won his first Premier League title with City after they came 2-0 down to beat his former and boyhood club Aston Villa 3-2 in a dramatic finale at the Etihad Stadium.

City celebrated a fourth title in five years with an open-top bus parade through the streets of Manchester and Grealish certainly made sure he enjoyed himself.

After realising a childhood dream, the England international guzzled plenty of alcohol and was the talk of the town from Monday's parade.

His voice going ridiculously hoarse, Grealish hilariously savaged teammate Bernardo Silva's performance vs Villa in an interview on the bus, before he ripped into Riyad Mahrez and compared him to Newcastle's Miguel Almiron in a bizarre diss.

On Bernardo Silva's Instagram story, Grealish said: "Riyad [Mahrez], take him off the pitch, as soon as possible. He played like Almiron."

Not done there, he also had Pep Guardiola in tears with a little comment about the Catalan signing him after his success against Kyle Walker in 1v1 situations - and even invited everyone to go to Deansgate bar Albert Schloss for a free Jagerbomb.

But while Grealish was having fun, Jordan took issue with his taunt about Almiron and came down hard on the 26-year-old.

"The bottom line is it takes Jack Grealish back to where he belongs in moron territory engaging his mouth before he engages his brain," Jordan said on talkSPORT, via Chronicle Live.

"There’s no problem with him having banter with his teammates that’s absolutely fine, if someone was to say he was taking the mickey out of Riyad Mahrez you’d say it was banter, they’ve got that rapport.

"If you take it out another domain and you pick another player, single him out and ridicule him because you think you’re in a position to do so, where’s that going to end?

"Someone somewhere is going to say by the way, who are you? What gives you the right to make that comparison? Why would you want to do it? Where does your arrogance stop and intelligence begin? I’m sure he meant it tongue-in-cheek but why pick on an individual player?

"Obviously in the back of his mind, he thinks that player probably is not good and that’s his prerogative but why does he need to do that to that particular player when Man City are talking about their success? Why does he think he is on a platform where he can look down on that player?

"Jack Grealish is a talented player, he’s a long way from being a £100m player and he’s incredibly fortuitous to be playing for a club like Man City that’s enabled him to win a Premier League because I don’t think his contribution has taken Man City to that Premier League, I think he’s a bit part player, so he would’ve been better served saying take me off the pitch more. It’s a lack of awareness."

Jordan has used the word "moron" before when ranting about Grealish, following him being dropped by City in December for being pictured in a nightclub after the 7-0 thrashing of Leeds United.

He's also gone on record to say he doesn't believe the former Villa skipper is a "£100 million player" on a number of occasions and even had a few words to say about his lucrative Gucci brand deal.

Grealish, meanwhile, has continued his wild celebrations by jetting off to Ibiza. He was pictured with Wayne Lineker at Ocean Beach club, with his party clearly not stopping.
