Ivana Knoll rubs salt in Man United's wound with brutal dig over 7-0 defeat to Liverpool

Ivana Knoll rubs salt in Man United's wound with brutal dig over 7-0 defeat to Liverpool

Former Miss Croatia poked fun at Manchester United on social media.

Ivana Knoll has hilariously mocked Manchester United on social media following their crushing 7-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Knoll, who rose to fame for her support of Croatia during the 2022 World Cup, ruthlessly poked fun at Man United after they suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp's side ran riot as they smashed seven goals past Erik ten Hag to record their biggest win over their arch rivals.

The fall-out from Liverpool's win over Man United has been huge, with Bruno Fernandes slammed for his showing and a masterplan in place for Ten Hag in wake of his team's loss.

And the former Miss Croatia has now weighed in on the result by aiming a cheeky jibe at the Red Devils on Instagram.

She shared a post online which shows a user tweeting: "How many days do we have in a week???"

Another user responded, writing: "Manchester United," a reference to the score-line at Anfield.

The 30-year-old shared the post on Instagram, accompanied with three crying face emojis.

Man United go back to the drawing board, having been the butt of the joke on social media.

Ten Hag will be seeking for a response as he bemoaned the standards of his team's damaging defeat.

Speaking after the game, he told reporters: "Second half it was not us. It was not our standards. We didn't play as a team."

Asked if he was angry with Man United's second-half showing, he replied: "Yes, definitely, and surprised because I have seen the last weeks and months a team that is resilient and determined with a winning attitude.

"We didn't stick to the plan, we lose our heads. We didn't do our jobs. We didn't track back and it was really unprofessional."

Man United remain in third place in the table after their bruising defeat to Liverpool.

His side resume their Europa League campaign on Thursday when they face Real Betis, before hosting Southampton in the league on Sunday.
