Ex-Miss Croatia Ivana Knoll has claimed players representing their countries at the World Cup slid into her Instagram DMs while in Qatar.

The model became an internet sensation towards the end of last year after wearing several racy outfits to games at the tournament.

She pushed the limits of Qatar's strict dress code for women, even claiming she'd go topless if Croatia managed to win the World Cup.

Knoll's antics earned her a massive following on social media. It turns out she had admirers on the pitch as well. Check out her stunning revelation below.

During an interview with Barstool Sports, the 30-year-old was asked if any footballers had contacted her after rising to worldwide fame.

She immediately replied: "Yes! I remember a few players messaging how are you, blah blah blah."

Some even used the opportunity to try and get in Knoll's head about Croatia, apologising in advance for their team beating them.

Knoll didn't confirm if they were group games or knockout games, with Zlatko Dalic's side coming third in the World Cup. She continued: "Some of the players would say sorry for tomorrow before the game... I would not respond until they lost!"

This week, Knoll attended a party hosed by actor Leonardo DiCaprio in Miami. She also posed for a picture with rap superstar Drake.

Knoll was also pictured with Jamie Foxx on New Year's Eve, spending the evening together while having meal.

On Saturday, Knoll took to Instagram to claim 2022 was the best year of her life.

Her follower count on Instagram currently sits at 3.6 million when before the World Cup, the count was at around 700,000. A huge level of growth.

"I am happy and proud as ever before. Guys, you are the reason why this was the best year for me! Thank you all for your support. Let’s rock 2023! Wishing you a Happy New Year and all the best! Your Knolloll."
