Sensational report claims Jack Grealish and Rafael Leao could be involved in Man City and AC Milan swap deal

Rafael Leao has been linked with a stunning move to Manchester City.

Stunning reports claim Manchester City's Jack Grealish and AC Milan's Rafael Leao could be involved in a sensational swap deal.

Leao, 23, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation following his stellar showings in Serie A.

He's been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Chelsea thought to be interested in acquiring his services.

Not to mention Man City, who are thought to be keen admirers of the Portuguese winger.

Pep Guardiola is believed to be a big fan of the player and reports in Italy suggest he's plotting an outrageous move for Leao.

According to reports via Calciomercatoweb, the Blues are prepared to offer Grealish in exchange for Leao.

Grealish, 27, signed for Man City in the summer of 2021 for £100 million. But he's largely failed to live up to his hefty price tag.

It appears Guardiola is ready to offload the England international in a bid to land Leao, who is out of contract in 2024.

The report, however, states that the Italian club are not completely convinced with the deal due to Grealish's high salary and age.

Leao remains focused on Milan, but has flirted with the idea of playing in another league.

Asked if he'd like to experience a different league, he said: "Yes, in the future. But now, I’m 100 per cent focused on Milan. I’m at a top club and I’m under contract. I also like the city."

When asked about England's top flight, he replied: "I’ve seen a lot of games this year, I like Arsenal, I think they play very well."

Milan CEO Paulo Maldini spoke about the future of Leao amid growing speculation regarding his future.

"He is a player of the highest level. But not only for him, also for others, has received offers," he revealed. "If they show up anyway we have to see how to do it even if we don't need to sell, our financial accounts are ok. But the players that cannot be sold now no longer exist."
