Jack Grealish hilariously saved Erling Haaland a seat on the bench for their game against Chelsea, with fans loving the bromance between the Manchester City superstars.

Grealish and Haaland were named among the substitutes for the Blues' Premier League clash against Chelsea at the Etihad on Sunday.

They were already confirmed as champions following Arsenal's shock defeat at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Man City ran out 1-0 winners, with Julian Alvarez scoring the only goal of the game. Haaland entered the fray in the 74th minute, but was unable to add to his incredible goal-tally.

The Norwegian phenom, who has 36 league goals to his name this season, was sat next to the 27-year-old during the game as the former Aston Villa man made sure of it before kick-off.

Before Man City vs. Chelsea started, Grealish can be seen telling the 22-year-old to sit next to him on the bench, sparking a huge reaction online.

One Twitter user wrote: "NGL I'm starting to love this Jack and Erling friendship."

A second tweeted: "Poor Ederson was gonna go there and he had to sit somewhere else."

A third added: "They are literally best friends."

A fourth said: "The bromance is real."

Another commented: "He needed his bestie beside him to talk shit to lol."

The England international, who was an unused substitute against Chelsea, spoke after the result as he touched on his 'great relationship' with Haaland.

"We’ve got a great relationship. We come into training a lot together, we live in the same building, I’ve assisted him a few times," he said on Sky Sports.

"When you have a relationship like that off the pitch, on the pitch it makes it that much easier."

Haaland then gatecrashed the interview and dropped an F-bomb, saying: "I f**king love you, you know that."

Grealish and Haaland have combined brilliantly this season as they now look to win the FA Cup and the Champions League.
