The transfer market these days rarely gives you value for money and if you break your club record transfer fee then it's even more unlikely. However Robbie Brady may have just made himself worth it for one free kick alone.

On the previous two occasions they've been relegated but thanks to their home form this term that doesn't look like it'll happen again.
To consolidate their position in the league Sean Dyche made some signings in January perhaps none more significant than breaking their transfer record for Robbie Brady.

Burnley are currently nine points of the relegation zone before today's matches and 28 of their 29 points have come at home. Their only point away was a draw at Old Trafford.
