WATCH: Dimitri Payet Scores A Wondergoal In Training

If you'd told us at this time, last year that at Euro 2016 a West Ham player would be one of the tournament's shining lights, we would have asked you how many you'd had to drink. Fast forward 12 months and we practically want to marry Dimitri Payet's right foot.

The Frenchman has lit up the tournament with two late strikes in France's opening two matches, followed by THAT volley against Switzerland which could have done the impossible and outdone Marco Van Basten's 1988 final effort, against the USSR.

Not to be outdone by an inconvenient piece of woodwork, however, Payet was quick to get back to what he does best, during a training match in which Didier Deschamps' men ran out 7-0 winners against the U19's of Paris FC.

Olivier Giroud, Anthony Martial and Samuel Umtiti were also on target, but none found the net in as majestic a fashion as the West Ham playmaker. Take a bow...

We can't wait to see what the former Marseille man does next at Euro 2016.
