Neymar Scores Brilliant Goal After PSG's Real Madrid Disappointment

The Brazilian couldn't influence the Champions League game midweek but was back on form in Ligue 1.

Neymar was a frustrated figure on Wednesday night when he and his PSG cohorts weren't able to beat Real Madrid. Back on home soil and it was back to usual form for the Brazilian, scoring a brilliant goal.

There's some question to just how good Neymar is this season. The Brazilian's form for PSG is unquestionable and he's bagged 18 goals in 18 games in Ligue 1, no one's questioning that.

Check out Messi's tribute to Neymar when he left the Camp Nou:

The problem is though that people aren't too convinced about the level of his competition. When he did face some obviously big competition in the shape of Real Madrid in midweek the former Barca man didn't really have the impact he wanted and arguably should have been sent off.

So it was probably a comfort to the 26 year old that this weekend was a return to Ligue 1 and a game against Strasbourg.

PSG actually went behind to the 13th placed side but were soon level through Julian Draxler and then Neymar put them ahead. After a great ball from Lo Celso the Brazilian round the keeper before calmly deceiving defenders by chipping it into the air and then slotting the ball home:

Basically it seems to depend where you sit with Neymar. Either you reckon he's one of the best players in the world who could destroy any side or he's only doing it because he's been in a good Barca side and now playing against 'farmers.'
