If you're a goalkeeper, there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of saving a penalty.
What must it feel like to save a penalty against five time Ballon d'Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo? For one, not many people can say they've managed to stop a Ronaldo penalty, but former Manchester City and Malaga shot stopper Willy Caballero is one of them.

Despite his heroics, however, he and his Malaga side paid the ultimate price back in 2013.

Ronaldo failed to find the net from the spot during Real Madrid's win against Malaga in 2013.
The former Sporting CP and Manchester United winger may have scored 133 penalties out of 159 during his career, but Caballero managed to save his powerful effort with a flailing left boot.

That being said, the goalkeeper's joy soon turned to anguish after he was taken off moments later:
As you can see in above clip, the goalie managed to keep his side in the game with a superb stop, but was dragged off not long after the incident.
It all went downhill from there. nine man Malaga eventually lost the match 6-2 after Sergio Sanchez and Martn Demichelis were sent off and goals from Raul Albiol, Ronaldo, Mesut Ozil, Karim Benzema, Luka Modric and Angel di Maria sealed all three points.
Ronaldo's spot kick actually brought up his 200th goal for Los Blancos in just 197 appearances and he went on to score and incredible 450 goals in just 438 games.

That record made him the club's all time top scorer, putting him 127 goals ahead of legend Raul in second place, and doing it in an absolutely mind boggling 303 games less than the Spaniard.
The former United winger eventually moved to Juventus in 2018 and his goal scoring hasn't slowed down since then either.
At 35-years-old he's still scoring regularly and has 81 goals in 103 appearances for the Old Lady.
