The wait is almost over – Football Manager 25 (FM25) has an official release date, and pre-orders are open. And this year’s game is set to mark a massive change when it comes to the beloved series.

Due to be released globally on November 26, it will be the first of the Football Manager games to be powered by Unity – a gaming engine that powers many of the world's best-known and bestselling games.

This will ultimately provide a smoother gaming experience and see player animation look all the more realistic, allowing you to truly immerse yourself in the matchday action.

FM25 also marks the introduction of women’s football, with it finally running as an option alongside the men’s game. Plus, after signing a multi-year partnership with the English Premier League, you can expect all 20 clubs from the top flight to appear in this game and future iterations of Football Manager. Plus much, much more.

But how and where can you pre-order FM25? And can you save any money by doing so? Keep reading to find out everything you need to know.

Where to pre-order FM25

Depending on your playing preferences, there are a number of places where you can pre-order FM25 here in the UK.

If you don’t want to wait until release day, there is an option to pre-order the game directly from the Football Manager website and doing so will also give you 10% off.

CDKeys also have a great pre-order discount at the moment, with you being able to save almost 25% by buying your Steam copy on there. Instead of paying full price, it is only £33.99, when you buy via them.

So, if you’re looking for the cheapest place to pre-order FM25, it looks like this is currently your best option but deals may change as we approach the official release.

Football Manager

Whether you play on Steam, Epic Games or Windows (with a PC Game Pass coming soon), this option gives you unlimited Loadable Nations in the game and takes the price down from £44.99 to £40.50, with you receiving a digital code via email to enable you to get playing as soon as the game is released on November 26.

And pre-orders are open right now.

While both FM25 Console – for Xbox and PS5 – and FM25 Mobile – for Netflix and PC/Mac – will also be ready to play on November 26. And Console copies should be available from the likes of Amazon, Currys, Argos and Very, here in the UK.

Whereas, if you plan on playing on your Nintendo Switch, you will have to wait a few more days until FM25 Touch is officially released on December 3.

But it's almost time to return to the sidelines and we, for one, cannot wait to get playing.
