An EA Sports FC insider has claimed there will be a monumental change to the upcoming EA FC 26 game that many think will bring the franchise "back".
The new game, which features Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala on the cover of the main edition and Zlatan Ibrahimovic of the Ultimate Edition, is slated to be released on 26 September.
But already details on tweaks and additions to the new game have emerged, following on from the official trailer dropping last week.

The trailer features a slew of comments and posts from the EA FC community calling for major improvements, which EA say they have addressed but correcting a number of gameplay issues such as slide tackles and interceptions, as well as bounce backs and deflected goals from goalkeeper saves.
However that's not all as a leading EA FC content creator has dropped a bombshell on another alteration which gamers can expect.
X user @DonkTrading is one of the go-to sources for updates on the new game and the account took to social media on Thursday to look a bit of confirmation.
In a major divulging, the account told fans there will be nowhere near the amount of promotions in EA FC 26 as there was in previous iterations.
"There will be LESS promos in FC 26," @DonkTrading revealed.

"Reducing the amount of Store packs, Paid Evos & more to slow the power curve. The game might actually be BACK."
Donk's revelation refers to less special cards and less versions of players, with EA appearing to be reverting back to its roots when Ultimate Team was simpler.
For example, Manchester City star Erling Haaland has 10 different cards in FC 25 Ultimate Team, one of which is a centre-back.
Reacting to the rumour of the mode being stripped back, one fan on X commented: "Nah, this is sounding a little TOO good now."

Another added: "I believe we have good year finally."
A third wrote: "Big fan of this. Go back to the good old days when it was TOTW POTM and red picks in champs awards so much more enjoyable."
A fourth user opined: "Hopefully EA do that the old days off Fifa was only 5 to 6 promos all year now it's like 20 promos destroying the game."
EA have also released 'Pitch Notes' to provide a deep dive of gameplay as designers and producers given an overview of what they have been working on.

According to the piece, EA's focus for this year is to "make gameplay better" and vow to make a game which is "more responsive, rewarding, and enjoyable".
EA FC 26 is slated for release on PlayStation 5, as well as the PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
