Liverpool's Rhian Brewster Has Priceless Reaction To FIFA 20 Card After Making Bold Prediction
Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster made a bold prediction ahead of the upcoming release of FIFA 20 - but it has come back to bite the 19-year-old prodigy.
The England U21 international claimed that he would receive an 85 shooting stat in the next edition of the game after a presumably impressive season under Jurgen Klopp.
Brewster even tweeted the following on September 13, 2018 - "That 60 shooting will be 85 by next season. Believe that!"
Unfortunately for the youngster, he failed to make a single first team appearance for the club, despite featuring in the Champions League final squad against Tottenham.
EA Sports have therefore decided to give him a measly +2 upgrade on his finishing, a far cry from his original prediction.
Then again, Brewster's priceless reaction to his latest FIFA card makes up for the overall disappointment. "Mission failed. We'll get em next time."
You've got to admire the 19-year-old's sense of humour, here.
The first batch of FIFA 20 ratings have been released and already fans are not happy with the overall grades given to some players - with Liverpool supporters kicking up a fuss over Roberto Firmino's mark.
Despite attacking partners Mo Salah and Sadio Mane being given significant upgrades, the Brazilian's rating has remained at 86.
Firmino scored 16 times as Liverpool lifted a sixth European Cup, achieving their best ever points tally in the Premier League. He was also integral to Brazil's Copa America victory on home soil.
Karim Benzema, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Heung-Min Son are both rated higher than Firmino and it's caused quite the stir on social media:
Thoughts on the above ratings? Do you think Rhian Brewster deserved a higher rating?
