Gabriel Jesus has made Fantasy Premier League history by becoming the first EVER player to be picked by at least 80 per cent of fantasy football managers.

The Arsenal star had been selected by 72.5 per cent of fantasy football managers ahead of the new season.

Hundreds of fantasy football managers, though, discarded the Brazilian forward after he fired blank in their opener against Crystal Palace.

But following his starring role in the Gunners' 4-2 win over Leicester City, thousands of fantasy football managers snapped up the 25-year-old.

Jesus scored a brilliant brace as his side resume their campaign at Bournemouth on Saturday.

And ahead of their game at the Vitality Stadium, he's been chosen by at least 80 per cent of fantasy football managers - an FPL record.

As it stands, Jesus costs a cool £8.1 million and is by far the most selected forward on FPL.

Manchester City's Erling Haaland is the second most selected forward on FPL, having been picked by 60.9 per cent of fantasy football managers.

Even though Jesus didn't find the back of the net against Palace, he's rewarded the fantasy football managers who have chosen him having compiled 21 points - the most out of any forward (at the time of writing).

Arsenal players are high in demand! 📈

Jesus will look to continue his goal-scoring ways when Arsenal face Bournemouth.
