Not a good night for Pique and his team...

Real won the Spanish Super Cup last night thanks to a 5-1 aggregate win over a Barcelona side that looked disjointed and distinctly average without Neymar.

Los Blancos ran out 3-1 winners away from home on Sunday and even with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Casemiro absent from the side in the second leg at the Bernabeu, Real, despite not really moving out of first gear, beat their rivals 2-0, with goals coming in the first half from the irresistible Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema.

It was a very limp display from Barcelona and poor Gerard Pique was on the receiving end of some top-tier trolling from the Real Madrid fans as he left the pitch at the Bernabeu.

The Blaugrana centre-back, who scored an own goal in Sunday's first meeting, was substituted just after half-time following what looked like a slight niggle, and replaced by new signing Nelson Semedo.

But as he exited the pitch and headed to the dug-out, as you'll see in the clip above, Real Madrid fans erupted in loud chants of "Se Queda!" - a reference to Pique's "He stays!" Neymar Tweet that has seen him become a laughing stock as a result.

AS reported that Real fans were mocking his Twitter gaffe, which he tried to defend by saying he knew Neymar was leaving but it was "the last bullet", prior to the fixture upon the Barca squad's arrival in the Spanish capital.

But it reached new heights completely last night. Here's how fans reacted on Twitter:

For some reason, Pique is yet to delete his Tweet and it has 163,905 Retweets and 320,0061 likes at the time of writing.

The Bernabeu chant is just the latest in the trolling Pique has received. PSG referenced "He stays" in one of their announcement Tweets about Neymar, in his PSG unveiling,Neymar revealed he told him not to send it, while Catalan rivals Espanyol even joined by ripping into the Spain international.

Gerard, you've had a mare.
